Who We Are
Dan Rippon
In the tech industry for over 20 years, Dan began his career as a help desk worker in the UK, specialising in resetting forgotten passwords every Monday morning. Happily, that wasn’t all life had planned, and moving into website marketing in 2011, Dan is now the lead SEO and chief coffee drinker at Spinifex Media. (And no, that’s not him in the photo above.)

Spinifex Media wouldn’t function without the many talented freelancers we have on board from the Tweed Coast and across Australia. Their support and skills enable us to aim higher and provide services at a much greater depth than one person alone.
Working with many SEO companies, I find Dan and the team at Spinifex to be top of their game. They work differently from others in that we discuss the SEO tactic before any content is produced, using a two-pronged attack to aim for our target audience.

Why ‘Spinifex’?
Because there’s a meaning behind the name ;)
Spinifex is a type of grass found in coastal dunes around Australia. Its roots grow deep into the sand and help stabilise & protect the beach’s sometimes fragile environment.
Dan is a lifelong surfer, so the coastal environment plays a large part in daily life. Much like those deep growing roots, the work we do at Spinifex Media helps stabilise the foundation of your website in search engines, providing a solid platform for you to grow your business.
